WE DECIDED TO START SENDING MINUTES OUT AGAIN BECAUSE SOME FOLKS HAVE ASKED TO KEEP RECEIVING THEM.  IF YOU WOULD RATHER NOT RECEIVE THEM BUT WOULD LIKE TO CHECK THE MINUTES ON THE WEBSITE PLEASE LET ME KNOW.  IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE THEN AND WANT TO GET THEM AGAIN PLEASE CONTACT DALE.

-WEEKLY PADDLES on Lake Winnebago: CHANGED to Tuesdays at 6PM. Menominee Park Beach

-SATURDAY JUNE 28th:  SELF DEFENSE COURSE:  Tami says that the American Black Belt Academy she is involved in is having an all-day course for $89.  Call Tami for more info

- BIKING EVENTS, Kate is looking for interested bikers to participate in at least two events this summer. The Mighty Wolf Triathlon in Winneconne on Saturday June 28^th starting at 8:15 am (3 divisions) Register by June 25th for $25, $35 after that. Best Friends of Neenah “Gourmet Bike Tour”, Sunday July 27^th starting at 7:30 am, register by July 16th for $30 (& a t-shirt), $35 after that & no t-shirt. You can either e-mail Dale if you are interested or talk to Kate at one of our meetings.

Tuesday 6/24:  Max is bring a bunch of boats to Menominee Park for demos.  Check them out or join the weekly Tuesday paddle

-July 12 and 13th:  Weekend day paddles for you slow-water set.  The group threw out lots of ideas for day-paddles of nearby rivers.  Decisions to be made at next meeting OR stay tuned for last-minute email invites.

-July 26th:  Annual Park-to-Park paddle thru the locks.  Starts in Neenah and ends in Appleton.  Join hundreds of fellow paddlers.  Details in next Minutes or check their website

-Omro to Oshkosh paddle?  Cindy looking to do this paddle some weekend.  Come to next Meeting or let her know if interested.

-Nordic Mountain mountain biking.  Tim says they have trails and for a small fee you can use the chairlift.  He is looking into it and will report back.

-Whitewater tandem canoeing:  Week of July 4.  Canada.  

-Olympia   National Park:  backpacking/camping trip last week of August, ending Labor Day

---Mike Wrege  brought in info about rafting West Virginia:  looks like the best time for us would be the 1st week in October next year.  Checking out the New River & the Gauley.  Probably taking off several days from work + the weekend.
